Things to Know
  1. Trainees will be paid $9.30 an hour for the work they complete, each workday will consist of a 30-minute lunch break.
  2. Trainees are asked to bring their own lunch each day and extra water.
  3. Cell phones and additional electronic devices are asked to be silenced during working hours.
  4. Training sites are treated like employment. Trainees are expected to attend each scheduled day, unless prior arrangements are made. If a trainee misses 2 days, they will have to speak with their counselor before being able to return to work site.
  5. Flip Flops and sandals are not appropriate footwear. Comfortable tennis shoes or boots are the only acceptable footwear for the Summer Youth Work experience.
  6. Trainees are not permitted to enter a work site until the Job Coach is with the Trainees. The earliest they can arrive to work site is 15mins.
